Description
MaxPro1 MV 100 Vacumm Pump Oil is formulated from selected premium performance, highly refined mineral oils, with low volatility
characteristics, for the lubrication of vacuum pumps. This provides the very low vapour pressure and high performance, desired for the
effective lubrication of rotary vacuum pumps.
MaxPro1 MV 100 has a high degree of chemical stability enabling it to resist oxidation and the subsequent formation of sludge and deposits,
an essential characteristic in all cases where continuous service is involved. This enables the oil to retain its original properties such as
viscosity and demulsibility and so prolong oil service life. Moreover it has a minimal foaming tendency and a very good water separation
behaviour. This aids water removal and prevents its return to metal surfaces to cause rust and corrosion.
APPLICATIONS
MaxPro1 MV 100 can be used to provide low to medium vacuum pressures. It is designed for the use in rotary and slide van vacuum
pumps. It can be used to a vacuum pressure of 1×10-3 mbar, and this will cover most of the industrial and also laboratory applications
MaxPro1 MV 100 is suitable for applications where ambient temperatures are above 0°C and where maximum operating
temperatures do not exceed 100°C. Maximum vacuum pressure capability generally tends to decrease as the pump operating
temperatures increase. It is also suitable for use in pump bearings and sealing glands.
