Safety wire is a necessary item in your tool box, garage, hangar or wherever you store all of your tools you frequently use. It has many uses, but the most common use among our customers is utilizing it so secure the nuts and bolts of your airplane. Safety lock wire has a ton of uses which include the aforementioned securing of nuts and bolts in your aircraft. These could include carb nuts and prop bolts. Use safety wire to act as a hose clamp around fuel lines, fuel pumps, and carb or primer bulbs. You can also use it in probe clamp replacements, on exhaust springs and on rotary valve tank caps. Secure your air filters to your carbs and secure spark plug caps to spark plugs with safety wire.
