A case in point is our new and innovative Proto Ratchet, a precision pear head tool that packs ease of use and high torque carrying capacity into a compact design. This low profile tool is perfect for technicians who need to turn fasteners in tight spaces. The ratchet includes a reversing lever that’s easy to use with one hand, and a contoured, easy to grip handle with knurled bands that let even sweaty hands keep a tight grip.
Proto’s line includes drive tools ranging from 1/4″ to 1 ” drive that can accomodate socket sizes from 1/16″ thru 3 1/2″ and from 2mm to 60mm. Socket come in standard and deep lengths, Standard length sockets are more suited for close , confined areas, while deep sockets will accomodate nuts where bolts protrude or to access a fastener in a recessed area.
