Starrett Vibrometers
Detect and indicate the relative amplitude of vibration of diesel engines, air compressors, turbines and other machinery rotating at high speed. Especially useful for comparing one set of readings to a subsequent set under different load conditions. Dial indicator is set in a heavy metal retaining ring, the bottom of which is fastened to a coiled spring and steel plate holding 3 soft rubber shoes. The dial indicator, which is set to zero by rotating its bezel, may be removed from the vibrometer for other shop uses.
